The Story

It started as a discussion with my wife while going on a train in Berlin. We have been struggling to find a Tax advisor for ourselves. And then finding a post on LinkedIn from another founder in Germany, who has a B2C business, and he is also struggling to find a solution for Tax Advisors in Germany, which his customers almost always ask for.

Back home, stayed up the whole night while doing market research, and the next 2 weeks, creating a very basic MVP and just throwing it to the people, on 4 Facebook groups. The response was insane, even from the Small Businesses. And that's when we both decided to work fully on this.

Here are now some (AI-refined) stats:

Built in 40 nights and weekends (with my employer's blessing) after experiencing the pain of finding a tax advisor in Berlin firsthand.

We're Not An Automated Tax Tool - not another TaxFix

TaxHILFE connects you with real, certified professionals. We're not Taxfix or an automated filing service (while we can do that, but that's not the real focus now). We believe complex tax matters deserve human expertise.

What's Next?

Immediate: Onboarding first 5-10 advisors, fixing UX friction, gathering feedback

Future: AI/RAG integrations for document management - tax advisors are drowning in paperwork, a huge opportunity for intelligent automation while keeping humans in the loop.

Launch: Q1 2026 -> Starting Berlin -> 3 major cities -> 10 major cites -> nationwide in Germany
