Great clean design, but 15$/mo price for email client is too high. Notion for example cost 4usd/mo, todoist ~3usd - imo that is more appropriate price for tool like this :>
Thanks! that's really valuable feedback. We want to be realistic about what's needed to make this product self sufficient, but we don't exclude the possibility of making it more affordable if we see that doing so would increase the number of paying users.

@yigitpinarbasi Oh no! As wrote above, we really want to make Tempo sustainable so that we can keep the light on without selling like most other products end up doing. But we get the 15 seems high. We ll consider what we can do, including a freemium version or maybe (given the positive response) we can be even more ambitious with the user target and lower the individual prices. Annual pre-paid prices with heavy discounts are definitely also an option. In the meantime please give it a try and let us know what you think. We won't start charging for a while (at least until we have a solid mobile version).
@mikedane7 Hi Mike. Yes, Tempo is currently only available as a desktop app for MacOS. The mobile app for iOS will launch this fall, and Android will follow in the weeks after.

I use the beta for some weeks now, and I like the design and funktionality. But please consider a settings option to ditch workspace and only use inbox – or at least a way to make inbox Tempo's starting page. I don't get that much mail, and inbox view is totally enough for me.
Also choosing whether to have "collapse mail" on top and/or bottom would be nice.

Although I would agree with others that it's over my price limit at $15.
Hah yeah probably can't stear around that much longer. But emails (like webpages) just often come with a black-on-white design, which then is inverted from the surrounding UI which is really hard on the eyes. Have you seen any good examples of it for email?

after allowing the permissions of gmail, the app hung at the login page so I can't login.
