This reminds me, we should create a collection of fitness products to make this the new year's resolutions a bit more attainable. Who's up for it? :)
Erik Torenberg
@rrhoover 2015 resolutions product list is ingenious.

Or you can do a 3 day series. New Years Resolution #1- Quit Smoking (list all the best apps, websites, audio books), New Years Resolution #2- Work Out (list best fitness apps), New Years Resolution #3- Cook More At Home (list cooking apps, etc)

@rrhoover Love it. Thinking fitness, weight loss, goal setting apps, etc all crammed into one? Or one for each vertical?

@rrhoover great idea. Let me know if I can help.

This is great, but honestly when it comes to all these fitness type apps, people just need to stop eating like shit.

@misteryu1029 so a location-aware app where sirens go off (or oinking) any time you're inside a fast food restaurant? :)

I love this workout. It's a great way to squeeze in exercise even on those busy days.

@robjama clever sneaking Tiny Hearts in there :)
Casey Rosengren
Would love to see this incorporate other bodyweight workouts (Convict Conditioning, Way of the Warrior, etc.).
Will Lam
@caseyrosengren Or just the ability to customize (or even randomize) what body weight movements you do instead of the same goddamned 7 minute routine over and over

@will_lam check out Sworkit for a bit more variety. http://www.producthunt.com/posts...

Apps by media companies are going to become a lot more common and some of them may surprise you

For those who want more variety in their workouts, you might also check out Gain Fitness (disclaimer - I know the founder). It's a series of apps that generate unique workouts to match the time/tools/type you ask it for. They also help w/ personal training.

There are several (free) mobile apps with 7 minute workouts that also save your workout history, so I'm not sure why you'd ever bother using a browser version.

There's also http://www.producthunt.com/posts... which gives some more workout diversity... also the workouts will take closer to 20-30 minutes depending on your fitness level and how long your breaks between sets are.

I think I found a bug when you install it on your Homescreen. I've just tried to use it after installing it, but the app "crashes" right after the first exercise (jumping jacks). For some reason it tries to open a page on well.blogs.nytimes.com in a new tab, that ends up being a Page Not Found. When I tried to go back to the the original tab the application had restarted. The same problem doesn't happen when I have it opened directly on my browser (not through the app icon installed on my Homescreen). Weird.
