Having used it now, I'm... confused about this release. It doesn't work for my images — which are mostly screenshots. I can see how this would be useful for a larger, more casual audience though, with mostly vertical photos.

I'm sorry, but to me the app is ruined. Instead of showing a feed of images and grids, I need to tap for every single image, which is insane when it's like 50 images in a day. Especially since you don't seem to buffer enough, so I need to wait for a second before each image appears.

WoW! Timehop experience has gone from being the simplest to worst UX ever! For its main theme, which is, relive your memories, I cant imagine how harder one could build the UX. For example: 1) For every memory I have to now hard press to see it's full content which makes no sense at all. 2) I have to now scroll through the full view content cards all the way to reach the end of the years. I don't even have a view of how many years back todays memory accounts to. All in all, this is making me move away from Timehop. Disappointing.

Fine if you want to move this way, but there needs to be an option to revert back to previous layout. I have hundreds of images to go through some days. This makes it near impossible. The old way where I can see multiple images on the page an easily scroll down was simple.
@jaredsilver we're starting to pick the best tweets and still iterating on what that algorithm looks like. Would love to hear your feedback on what works & what doesn't!
@bdotdub -- Ah, very cool. Thanks for the response! Personally, I'm a bit of a completionist and would probably prefer the option to see all of my content. Perhaps an option in settings to display everything or a way to continue after swiping to the streak page? It also helps me to prune content I no longer want published on my accounts.
@jaredsilver@bdotdub Agreed. Timehop is both useful for remembering good moments and deleting that stupid thing you tweeted 6 years ago :)

I must say, I liked the previous version better but this is definitely better for advertising and making it more sustainable and since I like the product and want it to be around for long then awesome!

Darn, this really is less useful to me than the last version with Swarm checkin text, landscape shots, and photo grouping. Is this Snapchat now? Bummed.

I had sent a feature request mail some 2 weeks ago. Didn't get any response. :(
When Abe is showing me things from my past, please provide a way of going to the source of that thing. For example, Abe shows me a 5 year old cringewothy post from facebook. I want to delete it from my fb timeline. But timehop doesn't give me any way of doing that. Please add a "go to source" menu option in each memory card, tapping which would open that entry in the related app.
