Hey everyone. I'm Maksym. I build products and rely heavily on Claude Code daily.
I made VoxTap to scratch my own itch. Working with parallel agents, custom skills, and hooks is powerful, but typing long contexts for them was a bottleneck. I wanted to just press a key, speak my thoughts, and have the text drop directly into my terminal.
It completely changed how I build. I currently ship about 5 features a week by talking to my IDE. Over the last month, I've pushed over 50K lines of code just by dictating architecture and agent instructions. A buddy noticed, switched over from the free tier of SuperWhisper, and hit 2.5x his normal code output almost immediately.
It's $29 once. Try the 45-Minute Test Drive without even giving me an email address. Let me know what you think.

I used it for two weeks already. I am impressed with the speed, how it works. Basically right now the workflow progress limited is the speed of thinking, not the speed of input. PS: And of course I dictated this message with Voxtap

@brizzy_team Thanks Vasyl! Love that you dictated this with VoxTap 😄 Appreciate the support from day one!
It took me some time to understand how to use it. Yes, the starting shortcut is clear, but it’s never mentioned that you need to press it again to get a result. I kept fighting with the Esc key 😅 I suggest adding this to the homepage video: the exact sequence of key presses.
Overall, the voice recognition works perfectly.
Kudos!

@dospolov Thanks Marat! Great catch, I should make the "press again to stop" flow clearer. Adding this to the onboarding. Appreciate the detailed feedback!

Wow, I tried the app and honestly, at first I did not really understand why I would need it. Since the built-in Mac dictation already seemed pretty decent to me, I thought it would be more or less the same...
But I was genuinely surprised by how accurate, fast, and convenient it is! Great job - you’ve got my like !
Thanks André! That's exactly the reaction I designed for, most people don't realize how much better voice-to-text can be until they try it side by side. Glad VoxTap won you over 🙌
