Just came across todai and honestly, I’m really excited about it. Most productivity or journaling tools push you to do more, but todai feels different—it’s focused on helping you feel better and think more clearly, especially when your mind is noisy or overwhelmed.

The idea of the Happy Lifestyle Index (HLI) really stood out to me—it’s such a simple but powerful way to understand where your emotional energy is going, and what might need adjusting. It’s not about fixing everything instantly, but about building awareness and clarity over time.

What I’m most looking forward to trying:

✅ Quick daily check-ins (with voice or writing)

✅ AI reflections that actually help unpack what I’m feeling

✅ Tools like “Reframe” and “Reset” to shift my mindset on the spot

✅ Tracking emotional patterns and seeing how I evolve

It’s like having a calm, thoughtful companion in your pocket that helps you navigate your day without pressure. Feels like something I could actually stick with—excited to try it out and build a habit of more mindful living.

@piyushnaik Wow — this means a lot.

You captured exactly what we hoped todai could feel like: not another tool to push you, but something that gently helps you listen, reflect, and adjust.

The way you described the HLI — as a way to build clarity over time, not fix everything at once — is spot on.

Really excited for you to try those tools in action. And if any of them surprise you (in a good or weird way), we’d love to hear about it.

@goshatirov  @cholden_lewis thanks for your feedback!)

Gosha Shatirov

@cholden_lewis Yesss, so glad you liked the onboarding — we put a lot of heart into those first few moments 🙌

Can’t wait to hear what insights start surfacing for you!

I like that this isn’t trying to “fix” people but just helps you listen to yourself better. Mental health tools often miss that.

Gosha Shatirov

@markokraemer Exactly — that was one of our core principles from day one.

We’re not here to fix, optimize, or diagnose — just to help people hear themselves a little more clearly.

Really appreciate you seeing that — it means a lot.

Todai sounds super innovative with its Happy Lifestyle Index, offering a practical, psychology - backed way to manage emotions and self - reflection. I’m really stoked to see how it helps folks find mental clarity and emotional balance in daily life. Just curious—how does it make sure the AI feedback on users’ emotional states is accurate and effective?
Gosha Shatirov

@huan_leo Thank you — really appreciate the thoughtful words!

That’s exactly what we’re aiming for: making self-reflection feel grounded, not vague.

As for the AI feedback — great question. We designed it to guide, not diagnose. It looks at your language and tone in real time, then uses structured prompts to help unpack what’s underneath — while always keeping you in control of the interpretation.

The feedback is rooted in our reflection framework (developed with a psychology advisor), so it’s less about “telling you how you feel” and more about asking the right next question to help you clarify things for yourself.

💡 Bright idea

The app looks so neat, great job guys! 🎉

Are you maybe considering an option to have a peek at other users' results and probably discuss them? something along the lines of a leader board/ community chat room :)
