Love this idea. Is it possible to scan an area in advance for an upcoming trip to get the benefits for you get there? This would help plan the trip too instead of just spur of the moment decisions.

@liam_g_ Thanks, Liam! This is the 1 million dollar question. Short answer: "Technically, yes, it's possible. But we have decided to not do it, for now" Long answer: We've often faced the question: should we let people explore with Touring BEFORE a trip as well? Everytime we've discussed this within the team, we ended up on the idea that if we did that, we would open the door and compete with MANY apps that have been doing that for a while (think about tripadvisor & co) and the end result would be a very different app compared to what we initially had in mind: something that you pop out when you're on holiday and it keeps you entertained and informed about what goes on around you. Of course, Touring is still in the early phase, so I'm not ruling out the possibility that we might do something in that direction in the future, but this is the reason why it's not possible today. Would love to hear your opinion on this, and thanks for the great question!

Congrats on the 2nd launch Gabriele! Love the new logo and the character:) I downloaded and tried the Android version. The audio guide is excellent; it made me interested in the nearby spots where I didn't even know they existed. I'm looking forward to seeing the future updates!

@gabriele_mazzola I think your team is already working on it, but I would like to refresh the map to find spots anywhere. I will travel to South Korea this October, so I will try touring at that time. Planning to visit some historical places there. I noticed that my wife is finding places to visit with TikTok and Instagram. So, maybe this is out of the scope of Touring, but it may be useful if I can see the IG & TikTok videos related to the spots.
