You know what I realized I missed when all my meetings went remote? Breathers and breaks between them. I was feeling the overbooked calendar burn and noticed I had to keep apologizing at the start of a meeting when I had to take a few minutes to run to the bathroom or grab a coffee — because I had been booked back-to-back for 3 or 4+ hours and hadn't been able to step away from the screen. I kept thinking, "I wish my calendar would just realize that I've been in meetings for way too long and probably need to pee or eat. It should just auto-add a break after a few hours and prevent me from getting booked like this." That didn't exist, so I decided to make it. First for me. Then for my team. And now for any and all busy people out there who could really use a few more breaks. Now, BreakBot is real, it's free, and at Trainual, we rely on it daily. @jonathanronzio I see this over and over again with people scheduling back to back meetings and never giving their brain and body a break. Your biology is not desired for endless periods of sedentary focus. You need movement and you need to let your mind unfocus. It's not counter-productive or selfish despite what your inner critic might say. It's actually vital and will enhance the periods when you are in task-mode. Thanks helping people take better care of themselves!

I can think of a few people who really need this because they are so overbooked and need to really take at least a few moments to center. Great idea! Your video is private though so i cant see what I am assuming is a product demo :(

Cool idea, is there an option to completely automate the process without the need to set up any parameters?

Thanks Slava! There is not because we found that lots of people preferred different break lengths or needed breaks at different times. Some like 10 min after every 2 hour block, some 15 after 3, some 30 after 4, etc. So we kept it flexible. Takes 15 seconds to set your parameters after install and then it’s all automated in the background
