Congratulations Travis! This is truly a first of its kind product and fills an enormous gap in the market. As a frequent traveller and Australian living abroad, I find Travis especially useful to document my past travels and share them with family and friends when they ask for my tips and where to go. I'm forever planning a new trip (even if we can't travel right now so much, we can plan!) and it's a relief to open up Travis to moodboard and map rather than go between my usual excel spreadsheet- Instagram saved highlights - Google maps etc etc! So excited to explore Travis more, well done team @nicole_tj @thomas_lo1 @_maoosi

@nicole_tj @_maoosi @liv_windsor Thank you for being so excited! We truly believe that as travellers, we need a platform that is built specifically for us to call home, something that helps us share and discover our experiences easily for the next person.

@liv_windsor thank you Liv! Glad it's helped you capture and share your travel stories especially in this time. And will only become more helpful as travel returns.

Great tool to use, especially, when the summer vacation is so close:)

@oleksandr_pavlenko Thanks! Would love to see how we can help with your next trip. A new update will be coming in a few weeks time which should be a big improvement in helping you find places in most major cities too. Any feedback is welcomed!

Ouch, seeing this coming to life while travelling freely isn't possible yet kinda hurts, but also builds more excitement for the times to come! The idea looks pretty interesting, but I'm not sure I understood how it exactly works, and how it would make me get rid of the spreadsheets and plan everything from this one place. Could you please help me understand? Anyway, good work team!
Sylvain (:seel-vahn)
@rubenwolff Thanks for showing interest in what we are doing Ruben! Appreciate your reflection on this. Indeed, travelling freely isn’t yet possible in all parts of the world. Australia is quite lucky in that regard, which is also why we’ve focused our early community in Australia up until now. That being said, we believe now is the right time to start re-building around Travel and we plan on expanding rapidly to other parts of the worlds. In fact, in a couple of weeks, we should have an update that will help with discovering key places to visit across cities around the world much better. To answer your question - On Travis, moodboards are at the core of trip planning. Right now, you can already save places from other peoples’ stories, organise things across multiple moodboards and see everything on a map. You can also share the moodboards you’ve created with your friends (example: https://travistrav.is/moodboard/...). This is still very much a work in progress - though we see moodboards evolving towards more flexible views, allowing you to really "plan" trips your way. This might include the ability to organise the places within your moodboards by day (similar to a calendar view), invite friends to collaborate as a group, but also add external links/notes to your board. Hoping this answer your question and makes you want to explore more!
