@tonyyo11 Exactly. We realized on the original Tribe that users that didn't have friend when they joined were not able to feel the magic of our product. Our aim with Tribe 2.0 is just to make that gap as small as possible 🎩

Fun colors and entrance/exit animations. Surprising list of integrations (albeit not all baked and polished). Mildly disorienting IA for the top-level UX nodes.
Is there any way to enter a phone number/email to invite someone?
There's one serious issue with trustworthiness: unclear (on the very spammy side) FB invite mechanic.
I tapped a button in the onboarding flow that said something like "Invite FB friends", with an expectation that there would either be (a) a picker on the following screen to choose individual friends to send invites to, or (b) an explanation of the sharing mechanic. Instead, the button simply changed state after I tapped it and gave a hint that all of my FB friends had been unintentionally spammed. Intentional growth tactic or unintentional UX oversight, that's a bullshit move.
Text chats in the app are triggering some weird card-ization of low-salience phrases (NLP parser polish!), and tapping on those random inline cards opens a safari webview that has a broken back button (on iOS 10); need to kill and restart the app after navigating into this webview implementation.
Also, notifications and unread badge count states aren't reliable right now: some notifications are arriving out of sequence, and badge counts are flickering.
