Hey everyone, I'm Dominic (pegasus on X) and I built Truffle using Cursor & Claude 3.5. It's my first fully solo-built app, although I've designed apps for other for years as a freelance product designer. So I care a lot about UI, UX, and usefulness. It's for anyone who uses X, and is your private AI investigator that tracks what people do or say, and builds an AI-Persona of that person as you track them. I'd love for you to give it a go. Everyone starts with 1000 free credits so you can play around for free. I'd love your honest feedback, I'm still learning, so expect bugs, too. I'll be going full-time into building my own apps now that it has become possible with AI, so follow me on X to watch my build in public progress! https://x.com/dmnc_eu Much love, Dominic

Good idea! can you tell other uses cases for eveyday people?
Dominic Emanuel Horn
@rupgo Absolutely! I personally use it to track things that are important to me but I don't want to spend a lot of time investigating such as: - Competitor analysis: I track my competitors for new features, pivots, any patterns, how they engage with their audiences. It's delivered to me as push notifications once a day so I have a really nicely filtered list of stuff I should check - You can even do stuff like "let me know when this account engages with new people" to discover their network - Track builders I like so I find out when they launch new features or apps - Track news agencies but also individuals for specific topics I care about such as climate change, digitalisation in Germany, specific political things - I track orgs of apps I use such as Figma, Cursor, Arc, OpenAI, etc for important announcements. I avoid having to follow 20 newsletters if I can just track their X accounts in a couple of clicks and get push notifications when there's something new Loads of other use cases, I have a whole library on the app!

@rupgo I noticed that every single day since I began using Truffle, I have key competitor info from all the profiles I track and can discuss with my team-mates, for example. I didn't need to look for anything

Congratulations for the launch 🚀, it is a nice feature for competitor analysis and tracking. In addition, I think it may be more efficient to create artificial intelligence with the data obtained from the opponent's posts.

Congrats on the launch! Truffle sounds like a handy tool for staying on top of Twitter chatter. How do you see it being used by marketers and businesses to gain insights?
Dominic Emanuel Horn
@ihuzaifashoukat Hey thanks! I use it to keep an eye on every person of interest and business of interest related to my work. Competitors, fans, key opinion leaders, regulators: everyone who is important to stay up to date with. This is quite transferable to any kind of marketer or business. Elon says it himself, X is the town square where everything is happening, and is often faster than the news. Identifying trends there is really powerful because it's more "real" than what gets filtered into bigger publications. It's made a big difference for me.

Looks cool! Will definitely try. Can it be used for lead generation with some sort of context? For example in my case I would be interested in short shared accommodations between "strangers" for specific events or conferences. But the term "share accommodation" or similar are usually are for students in colleges, or other scenarios that don´t apply.

Love the focus on pattern detection — that's where real insights hide. One thing I'd push on: Twitter/X is just one piece of the listening puzzle these days. We built MentionFox to monitor 52+ platforms (Reddit, Discord, YouTube comments, forums, AI chatbots) because brands miss huge signals everywhere else. How are you thinking about expansion beyond X, or is staying focused on one platform the intentional play here?
