Type Studio is no longer just the easiest way to edit your video text-based, but you can now add subtitles to your video automatically. Make the subtitles perfectly match to your video by customizing them. You can also simply export them as SRT or VTT files.

Wish I'd known about this and had access to the Teams plan last weekend when I spent several hours manually translating the subtitle file for a French film I wanted to watch with English subtitles. I'll keep this in mind next time once Teams is widely available.

@theleovogel Longer videos is something we're working on. You could cut your movie, subtitle the single parts and than put it together afterwards! Even tho that would be a pretty hacky workaround :D

?makers I like the product but I believe the limit is a bit less for the free account and would love to make the limit like an hour or so. Other than that this seems great.

@kshitij_malhotra hi – thank you for your feedback. We're still trying to figure out the best size for our free plan. The biggest problem right now is that it really depends on the video you edit. For people doing tutorials, online courses or other longer videos 20 min is definitely very short. On the other hand, a lot of people adding subtitles to their 1-3 min social media videos. For this use case 20 min per month is usually enough. Also you have to keep in mind that all free users cost us quite some money because video files means lots of server storage. We'll be adjusting the size over time and figure out where the perfect spot for our users as well as for our company is. I hope you understand our perspective :)
