A thought I can’t shake:

Sometimes people don’t lose motivation because they’re lazy.
They lose it because too much of their effort happens unseen.
You can finish the sprint, ship the feature, hit the goal, and still feel empty.
Not because the achievement doesn’t matter, but because there was no human mirror around the process.
No one to notice the consistency.
No one to notice that this was actually hard.
No one to make the effort feel real.
I think we talk a lot about productivity in tech, but not enough about witnessed progress.
Curious how other makers here think about this:
Does building feel more meaningful when someone is actively following your process, not just reacting to the outcome?
