Behind the scenes - how Naitly was built

Naitly actually started as a completely different project. We were building SpeakingAI - a tool to help people practice speaking through AI conversations. It worked well, people liked it, but we started to notice something important: there were already too many similar tools doing the same thing.

We didn’t want to create just another speaking simulator. We wanted to build something that truly helps people reach real results - not just chat in English, but actually move from one level to another with visible progress. That idea slowly grew into Naitly.

So we changed everything. We combined what we learned from SpeakingAI with a new structure built around results, goals, and measurable improvement. Instead of focusing on one skill, Naitly now gives you a full, personalized plan that adapts as you grow. You always know your current level, your next target, and what to do to get there.

It’s been a long journey, and seeing it finally launch today feels special. What about you - have you ever had a moment when a side project suddenly turned into something much bigger than you planned?

hey, can relate with this! We initially built speakwell.ai as a meeting assistant + communication coach. However, it wasn’t a big enough problem for native speakers. Focusing on non-native speakers is probably the right move! Goodluck with the launch!
