BlockaBot See and block real attack traffic hitting your site

by

Most website owners assume their traffic is mostly users.

What we saw building BlockaBot says otherwise.

Using BlockaBot.com, In the last 24 hours from a small test deployment:

  • 398 unique threat IPs observed

  • 68 total requests captured, all identified as automated

  • 59 WordPress-related attack attempts

  • Continuous probing across admin paths and random endpoints

  • Peak hour reached 99 unique attacking IPs

Top attacking IPs (sample):
34.138.252.24
193.32.126.230
8.229.128.10
35.230.33.51

These are not targeted attacks.
They are constant, automated scans looking for anything exposed:

  • wp-login and WordPress surfaces

  • admin panels

  • PHP endpoints

  • misconfigured environments

BlockaBot was built to deal with this layer before it becomes a problem.

What it does:

  • Detects and classifies incoming traffic in real time

  • Identifies attack patterns like WordPress probes and endpoint scans

  • Builds a shared threat network from observed IP activity

  • Lets you block or act on threats before they hit your app logic

This is not another analytics dashboard.
It is focused on answering a simple question:

What is actually hitting your server right now, and what should you do about it?

We are opening early access to gather feedback from developers running real workloads.

Eye-opening stats! Crazy amount of automated attacks out there...definitely going to check out BlockaBot for my sites. If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon...AI-powered flashcard app that turns webpages into spaced repetition study material. Would appreciate a follow (See "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" Link in my profile).
