Everyone saves links. Almost no one uses them again. Why?

by

We consume massive amounts of content every day — articles, tweets, PDFs, videos.

Most of it gets saved to bookmarks, Notion, Pocket, or browser tabs… and is never seen again.

It’s not a storage problem. It’s a retrieval and context problem

.

People don’t revisit saved links because:

There’s no memory or context attached

It’s not searchable when they need it

It’s disconnected from their real workflow

What systems do you use to manage useful links or research?

What’s working — and what’s completely broken?

Would love to hear how others deal with this knowledge overflow.
