Oh hey guys! It was funny to see Product Hunt launch a Teasers product today since I launched one just over a month ago, but focused on expediting the process of exploring raising on Republic (where I lead product focused on the founder experience!).
It's very early, but would love it if you'd take a look and give it a spin — open to all feedback!

If you create a Teaser, post the link here and I'll check it out!

That's cool. Chris, are there any Teasers already running? Share links, please. I want to take a look.
Seems they just took the data that paid customers submit for their "Upcoming" page and turned it into a feed, right? I'll take a look at what you made for Republic – sounds cool and probably more actionable.
@justinotherjohnson I'm guessing that Product Hunt 1) wants to promote teams setting up residency on the Hub, and planning out launches in advance and 2) will be reforming their Ship offering this or next year. It hasn't been touch in forever, so they're probably kind of working backwards.
@justinotherjohnson Hey Justin! Anyone can make a coming soon page on Product Hunt, it's not a paid feature, you can do so at the end of the flow when you schedule your launch, you can read more here :)
@chrismessina Yes, we’re evaluating Ship and deciding how to move forward next year. Today, there is a lot of functionality that exists in Ship that we’d like to offer Product Hub owners. We have to decide which features should migrate vs remain a premium offering.
Sounds helpful! The only question I have after watching the promo is who the page is for. Is it only for companies that have been approved by Republic or would the creation begin at the same point as the application? Will the page be used to evaluate applications?
@brittany_salas the Teaser Page is intended for anyone who is crowdfunding-curious for their company. It's a way to launch quickly and start collecting interest about a potential raise from your community while you prepare the materials for a more formal application.
Was the video not seem clear? Happy to hear how it could be improved!
Hi @chrismessina, I think this is truly fantastic! It's obviously a great resource for founders, and much better than sending out a pitch deck. For feedback, as some others mentioned, I would love to see some easily accessible examples of other companies' teasers.
