💥finally putting my work out there - sharing progress, learn from you, seeking feedback.
Hey everyone 👋
I’m Tim — a London-based digital product designer / creative technologist for over 2 decades.
I’ve spent most of my career building digital products across streaming, sports, and large-scale platforms (DAZN, airline multi-screen entertainment systems, multi-brand design systems).
For the past 2 years, I’ve been focused full-time on AI — not just what it can do, but how it behaves in real-world use. This isn’t a weekend project. nor ai-slop. These 2 projects have been self-funded, iterated, broken, rebuilt over 2yrs … and now finally at the point of putting real products out there.
Right now I’m focused on two experiences:
THRPY — a voice-first AI that detects emotional signals, tracks patterns, and reflects them back in real time. It adapts the experience dynamically (voice, pacing, subtle visuals, sound) to create private, supportive conversations. (Longer term: an emotion-aware layer for any AI, across any modality — currently early alpha.)
Squadbox — a system to keep AI builds aligned with intent. (Trying to solve “drift” in AI-assisted development — where you start one thing and end up somewhere else.)
Both are early. Both are experiments in making AI more useful and grounded.
I’m here to:
share progress
learn from other builders
get real feedback (especially the uncomfortable kind)
Curious what others here are building — and how you’re finding working with AI right now.
OH! almost fogot - TWO FREEBIES (well thee if you count thrpy.. but every coffee helps lol):
1. do yu find youself stripping code from chats??
well try this.... codefrom.chat
2. Are you on a Mac and frusterated with md editors across the board. especially when you dont feel llke firing up VS Code or Cusor instances clogging thing up then try this:... http://docstudio.codefrom.chat lightweight, easy use, simple no frills, edit IN PREVIEW, utilises browser storage, save to dock and boom! there's your app solution.
if you made this far without TLDR'ing, hugs. 😬

Fascinating projects, Tim! THRPY's emotion detection sounds powerful, and Squadbox tackling AI drift in dev is spot on. Will check out codefrom.chat.
I'm Rian, building The Sponge...an AI-powered flashcard app with a browser extension that turns webpages into study material using spaced repetition. If you're up for it, launching on PH soon...would appreciate a follow (See "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" Link in my profile).
@rianbrob Thanks Rian! although, my LLM account got banned the day this was post released, the spike in traffic triggered an abuse block. hehe I'm refactoring for multi-llm dynamic switching, should back up in short order. Happy to chat about some of the non llm in-browser mathematic emotion detection algorithms, or squadbox's governed builds / drift prevention in the mean time. :)
