Founder building AI workspace context for backend devs β launching on PH soon
Hey PH! π
I'm one of the founders of Workspai β been building in the backend tooling space for the last year and finally ready to share what we've been working on.
Quick background: we started with RapidKit, an open source backend workspace platform for FastAPI, NestJS, and Go. The more we used AI tools alongside it, the more frustrated we got with the same problem β AI has no idea what your project looks like. You repeat yourself every session.
Workspai is our answer to that. It's a VS Code extension that reads your backend workspace β structure, modules, git changes, team conventions β and feeds that context into the AI automatically. Works with GitHub Copilot, no new subscription.
Still pre-launch but would love to connect with backend devs here. What's the biggest context gap you've run into when using AI on a real backend codebase?

Super useful idea! That context gap hits hard ... as someone with a dev background, I've felt the pain of AI forgetting project details across sessions.
Will check out Workspai.
If you're up for it, launching The Sponge on PH soon ... AI-powered flashcard app with browser extension that turns webpages into study material using spaced repetition. Would appreciate a follow (PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH link in my profile).
