From 10 → 1,000 users in 14 days

by

Two weeks ago, this Chrome extension had ~10 users.

Today it’s just over 1,000.

No ads.

No “big reveal.”

What surprised me most wasn’t the growth — it was where it came from.

Instead of adding features, the biggest gains came from:

  • fixing small UX friction immediately

  • replying to early users fast

  • watching where people hesitated instead of asking what they wanted

The biggest unlock was realizing that polish and trust compound quietly.

A handful of people coming back daily was a stronger signal than any spike in installs. Once that happened, everything else felt worth doubling down on.

Still early, but I’m curious:

For those who’ve seen early traction — what was the signal that told you this was worth committing to?
