From Gotenberg frustration to a 5-minute PDF integration
Hey Product Hunt!
I'm the maker of Doculin, an HTML to PDF API I built out of pure frustration.
Every project I worked on eventually needed PDF generation. And every time, I'd lose a day or two setting up Gotenberg, configuring wkhtmltopdf, or wrangling a headless browser. It's a solved problem that somehow never feels solved.
So I just built the thing I always wanted. You send your HTML, you get a PDF back. No Docker containers, no self-hosted infrastructure, no config files. It just works.
It handles async processing for high-volume jobs, works with any stack (there are Node.js and Symfony demos on GitHub if you want to see how simple the integration is), and there's a free tier with 100 PDFs per month, no credit card needed.
If you've ever lost time to this exact problem, I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. Happy to answer any questions!

Neat fix for a classic dev headache!
I'll give Doculin a spin.
If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon...an AI-powered flashcard app that turns webpages into study material via browser extension. Would appreciate a follow (PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH link in my profile).
@rianbrobΒ Thanks Rian, really appreciate it, hope Doculin works well for you!
The Sponge sounds awesome, love the concept of turning any webpage into flashcards.
Just followed you, looking forward to the launch! π
