Hi! I’m Lena, transitioning from front-end to doing it all

Hi, I’m Lena 👋 I’ve spent 10+ years in web development (mostly front-end). For a long time, I watched other people build their own products and kept thinking, “one day I’ll try that too.”

At some point I decided: enough thinking, time to start doing. Since then, I’ve been working on a few projects — some solo, some with others. It hasn’t been as easy as I first imagined. Going from just front-end to handling everything — design, marketing, tools, competition, legal, taxes — has been a whole new challenge (I’m sure many of you here know what I mean!). But after a few months of learning and experimenting, I’ve finally reached the point where I can share something publicly.

The first project I’d love to present is LinkedCVBuilder. It’s a tool that turns your LinkedIn profile into a CV and then rewrites it with AI for any LinkedIn job. I’ve always liked LinkedIn, so I wanted to build something for people who use it to look for new roles. Competition out there is tough, so my hope is that LinkedCVBuilder helps others be among the first applicants with a relevant CV and cover letter.

I’m especially into productivity, dev tools, AI, and entrepreneurship — most of what I build (and get excited about here) lives in those areas. Another big passion of mine is psychology in all its forms, so maybe one day I’ll launch something related to that too.

I’m really happy to be here. I love how people on Product Hunt support each other’s launches, and I’ve already found projects I now use myself. This community is full of creativity and inspiration — it makes me want to keep building and sharing my own work. 🚀
