How did you get your first 1000 users without an audience?

I’m a new maker and recently launched my app Rupitrack, an expense tracking app.

One challenge I’m facing is getting the first users because I don’t have much audience on LinkedIn or X yet.

I’m curious how other makers here approached this problem when starting from zero.
