How do people really feel about Product Hunt?
Hey, I'm Sophia. I'm doing growth for an AI research tool called Otio: 200k users, small team, no idea what I'm doing half the time.
I'm not a developer. I didn't build the product. I'm the one trying to get it in front of the right people and then figure out why users stay/leave.
Everyone on here seems to have been coding for 20 years and launched 15 things. I did a biodesign masters, had zero startup experience, and somehow ended up here. Imposter syndrome is an understatement. It also feels like meritocracy doesn't really matter as much as showing off nowadays, which at times is somewhat discouraging.
Would genuinely love to hear from others in startups. How are you learning? What's actually working? How to stay positive/hopeful in the current landscape?
