How do you actually learn from your podcast episodes?

Hi all!

I’ve been chatting with indie podcasters and noticed a common theme: once an episode goes live, it’s hard to know what really worked.

So we started asking questions like:

• How do you get editorial feedback on tone, pacing, or guest delivery?

• What helps you figure out which segments or topics resonate most?

• Do you have a way to track content performance across episodes (beyond downloads, listens etc.) - or is it mostly gut instinct?

We’re exploring ways to make this easier, especially for creators without big teams or budgets. If any of this sounds familiar, we’d love to hear how you handle it (or what you wish existed).
