How We Closed the Gap Between Content Management and Accessible Digital Publishing

One thing we kept hearing from non-profits, associations and community organisations was that they were using one tool to manage their content and a completely separate tool to publish it — and the two never talked to each other cleanly.

That gap costs teams time, creates accessibility blind spots, and adds technical overhead that smaller organisations simply cannot afford.

This month, ZenFlip and Fido formally addressed that with the Content Delivery Alliance - a partnership that connects Fido's content surfacing, curation and management capabilities with ZenFlip's accessible digital publishing layer. The idea is straightforward: organisations should be able to go from content to published, accessible digital experience without switching platforms or losing formatting along the way.

ZenFlip handles the publishing side with WCAG 2.2 AA compliance built in by default, including Text-to-Speech and immersive reader. Fido handles the content surfacing and management side - helping organisations get more value from the content they already have. Together they cover the full workflow.

We are focused initially on non-profits, charities, professional associations and digital publishers - sectors where this gap has historically caused the most friction and where accessibility compliance is increasingly a regulatory requirement.

The alliance went live this month. We would genuinely love feedback from anyone who has navigated the content-to-publishing workflow problem.
