I built FXMacroData: real-time macroeconomic data for FX traders & quant researchers

by

I’ve spent years building FX models and always ran into the same problem:
central bank data is scattered, inconsistent, and almost always delayed.

So I built FXMacroData, a real-time macroeconomic data API that standardizes inflation, interest rates, GDP, and policy releases across major currencies; with built-in dashboards and charts.

A few updates since the launch last week:

  • Free chart embed widgets → drop real-time FX/macro charts into any website or blog

  • Free GBP/USD dashboard data → including rate differentials + central bank timelines

  • New analysis articles → event-study examples, carry-trade breakdowns, and FX data research

If you work in FX, systematic trading, or macro research and want cleaner data for your models, I’d love for you to try it or tell me what you’d like to see next.

You can test a live endpoint here:
https://fxmacrodata.com/api/usd/policy_rate

Happy to answer any questions or show how people are using it.
