I built PeekPolicy – A community driven policy analysis platform
Hi all!
Like most people, I used to just click “Agree” on terms and privacy policies without reading them. I didn’t ignore them because I didn’t care. They are long, written in legal language, and hard to understand. Recently, I started looking into some of these policies, especially those related to AI training and data usage. I realized how much important information is hidden in documents that most users never read.
That’s why I built PeekPolicy, a community-driven platform where people can break down company terms, privacy policies, and data usage into simple explanations. Users can highlight important clauses and rate aspects like transparency and data usage. The goal is to create a resource for company policies in a Wikipedia style, written in plain English so the average person can truly understand what they are agreeing to.
I’m launching this to gather feedback, ideas, and hopefully find people interested in privacy, policies, and making this information more accessible to everyone.
