I'm Dan - I'm here looking to connect, collaborative, learn, build and launch

Hey everyone, I'm Dan.

I'm a CFO/CIO at a PE-backed company. I have a CS degree that I never really used the traditional way, but it turns out the itch to build things never actually went away. It just waited for the right moment.

That moment was vibe coding. Once I realized I could describe what I wanted and iterate my way to a working product, something clicked. I went from zero side projects to two SaaS apps in progress, and now I spend most of my free time tinkering, breaking things, and trying to make them better. Building is the part I love most. Not the launch, not the metrics. Just the act of making something that didn't exist before and replacing multiple tools with one.

But I've also learned that building alone only gets you so far. Some of the best ideas I've had came from watching what other people are working on, and some of the worst ideas I've had could have been caught with a five-minute conversation. I'm here to learn from this community, share what's working and what's not, and help wherever I can. If you're building something and want a second set of eyes or just someone to bounce ideas off of, I'm always up for that.
