Indie10k — Public beta for indie dev growth system

Hey everyone 👋

This started from a casual ChatGPT chat about backlinks. That tiny spark made me realize: most indie devs (myself included) can build, but don’t know how to grow. Result? Side projects die quietly.

I wanted to flip that.

Help indie developers reach profitable cash flow faster, with limited time and budget. No hype. No hacks. Just momentum.

The Goals:

• Not a project management tool → no complexity.

• Not a chatty AI bot → no walls of advice.

• Instead: 3 small, proven tasks each day (traffic, conversion, retention, iteration).

That’s it. Doable, repeatable, progress you can actually feel.

The Journey

• First prototype? Chaos (I tried to do 30-day missions in a week 🤦‍♂️).

• Then I re-invented it using first principles → focus on simplicity.

• After 167 commits, I accidentally bumped the repo to v1.0.0. Instead of rolling it back, I embraced it.

And so today became Indie10k’s open beta day.
