Introducing myself :)

Hi everyone, 

My name is Rick and I'm new here. 

I'm a Technical Lead for a telecomms distributor based in the UK. I'm also the founder of a recent startup called Digital Lifeline Ltd. 

My most recent project is Luma Head, which I'm hoping to launch with the help of Product Hunt. 

Luma Head is a web app that uses Google's new Nano Banana AI model, which has been finely tuned, to help create professional headshots for users. My hope is, it can help businesses by significantly reducing the cost of hire a professional photography team to come to their office, take time out of everyone's day to produce some headshots of all their staff. 

I used to work as a corporate photographer part-time, so I know it can be expensive for the customer. Time consuming, which is also costly, as staff are having their photos taken instead of working, and it can all be quite a lengthy stressful process.

I started this project the day after Nano Banana came out (about 2 weeks ago now I think?) I was blown away with the capabilities of the model, and knew I could create some really fun projects with it.

In it's current state, I use Google Cloud/Firebase to host it. It's a very early version, but the functionality is all working. You can create an account, the payment/subscription model is all working, and most importantly, you can generate some awesome headshots. I've just applied for Google's AI Start Up package (really hope it gets accepted!)

I'm very new to the whole startup/founder way of life. This is the first project I've made to actually try and make a business of. I'm very excited and I'm loving the journey, and there's also an incredible amount for me to still learn. 

As I mentioned previously, I'm hoping I Product Hunt can help me launch Luma Head. I'd love feedback, tips etc. I am hear to be a sponge to all the information available haha.
