🚀 Launching Cross Write on September 6 – Write once, publish everywhere
Hey Makers,
I wanted to share something I have been working on: Cross Write.
The idea came from my own struggle as a builder. Every time I wrote something, I had to copy, reformat, and repost it across multiple platforms. It felt like wasted effort instead of focusing on the writing itself.
Cross Write solves this by letting you write once and publish to multiple platforms.
Right now it supports Hashnode and Dev.to with more integrations planned.
For now it is:
âś… Self host only
âś… 100% free and open source
The official Product Hunt launch is scheduled for September 6.
Here is the link: Cross Write on Product Hunt
I’d love your feedback:
Which platforms should I prioritise next
Would you prefer a hosted version in the future or keep it fully OSS
Thanks a lot, and I’m excited to hear your thoughts!

SnippSync
Wow Alex, this is seriously awesome 🚀!
Cross Write is exactly the kind of tool that makes a writer’s life 10x smoother—cutting out all that repetitive platform juggling and letting ideas flow where they matter most.
What’s extra exciting is imagining how tools like SnippSync
could play alongside Cross Write. Writers, especially technical ones, often need to keep code examples fresh everywhere they’re published. Being able to write once with Cross Write and have synced, always-up-to-date snippets would be such a power combo for dev bloggers and educators 🔥.
Love what you’re building—can’t wait to see it live on PH on the 6th!

Thanks a lot 🙏 That means a lot to me!
You captured the exact pain I had. Juggling platforms was draining the joy out of writing. Cross Write is my way of fixing that.
I really like your point about synced snippets. That would be powerful for dev bloggers and educators. I will definitely explore that direction.
Super excited to finally get it live on the 6th 🚀
