Launching Monday: Instagram influencer search API for AI agents

Hey PH community\! We are launching Social Intel on Monday, March 16th at 12:01 AM PDT.

Social Intel is an Instagram influencer search API built for AI agents and developers.

The twist: instead of API keys or subscriptions, it uses the x402 protocol -- HTTP 402 natively. Agents pay 0.10 USDC per search, automatically. No signup, no billing portal.

What you get per search:

- Username, followers, category, bio

- Public email for business accounts -- about 50 percent have one

- Filters: country, gender, city, min followers

- MCP server so Claude and Cursor can search autonomously

Honest stats after 2 weeks live:

- 50 devs hit the API, got the 402 response

- 1 paying customer from Japan, Node.js MCP client, 1.20 USDC

- 0 percent conversion after that -- USDC friction is real

- 99.7 percent gross margin

Adding a free tier next week to fix the conversion problem.
