My first systems had water in them
Hello, I’m Lucas.
As a kid, I spent a lot of time building aquariums and terrariums. I was obsessed with creating environments that made sense on their own, where every part had a purpose and interacted with the rest, and where things felt balanced rather than forced.
That way of thinking slowly moved into digital spaces. First building worlds in games, then mechanics, then systems that needed to feel intuitive and alive. Over time that expanded into mobile apps and more practical software, but the underlying interest stayed the same.
Today, I study Information Systems and spend most of my time thinking about how systems can support better behavior without demanding constant attention from the people inside them.
I also think a lot about AI, especially how to use it to speed up thinking and execution without giving up authorship or craft. That tension is something I enjoy discussing.
If you’re here building, designing, or thinking about systems, I’m always happy to talk.
