No confirmation after clicking subscribe for CVE alerts
by•
Hi,
I’ve been using ExploitAlarm for about half an hour and I really like the simple UI and its practical use. The only issue I ran into is that I’m not sure whether I can receive real-time email alerts when a CVE is published for a product.
If this feature already exists on the products page, and I need to click the “subscribe” (bell) button, I don’t get any confirmation on screen or by email to reassure me that alerts are activated.
As a user, I’d really appreciate having a confirmation email or a dialog box pop up after clicking “subscribe,” so I know the alerts will be delivered. Could you please clarify how this works?
Wishing you and your team the best of success.
Thanks!

I think what you’ve pointed out highlights an important detail: when users deal with security tools, trust is everything. A clear confirmation (visual or email) not only reduce uncertainty but also reinforces reliability. It feels like a small tweak, but it could improve user confidence significantly.

Really like the simplicity here. Would be great to know if there’s a way to double-check that alerts are working once subscribed.
