No, I won't do Win + Ctrl + V just to get a mid volume mixer

by

windows has a volume mixer. it's ugly, hidden, and takes 3 clicks to access.

eartrumpet fixed that. but i wanted more.

so i forked it.

bettertrumpet is:

  • one click on systray → per-app volume

  • hover → floating media player with blur, progress bar, shuffle

  • custom themes or your own colors

  • animated tray icon when music plays

  • eco mode for laptops

it's free, open source, and weighs 1.4mb.

the volume mixer windows should've had from the start.
