Hi everyone, I’m Jesse and I’m probably not your typical maker.

I’m a professor at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences who became deeply fascinated by the rapid rise of AI and the explosion of tools over the past couple of years. With thousands of new tools emerging every month, it became hard to get a clear grasp of the fast-evolving landscape, especially with so much hype and noise.

So I decided to do something about it.

Together with a small team, we’ve built RankmyAI — an independent, data-driven platform that provides monthly rankings of AI tools based on real-world signals like web traffic, reviews, and investments. No paid placements. No fluff. Just objective insights into what’s really happening in the AI ecosystem.

I also wanted to give niche tools a stage. You can suggest new rankings for specific use cases or submit your tool and benchmark its performance for free.
