Omegle shut down β€” what anonymous chat platforms are people using now?

byβ€’

Hi everyone πŸ‘‹

After Omegle shut down, I noticed many people were still looking for simple ways to talk to strangers online.

Most alternatives I found either require sign-up, have too many ads, or feel slow and cluttered.

So I decided to build Strango β€” a minimal anonymous chat platform where you can instantly connect with random people without creating an account.

The goal is to keep it simple, fast, and clean. Just open the site and start chatting.

I’m currently preparing for the Product Hunt launch and would really appreciate feedback from this community.

What features do you think are important for anonymous chat platforms today?

I asked this because after Omegle shut down it feels like there aren’t many simple anonymous chat platforms left.

I actually started building a small experiment called Strango where people can instantly talk to strangers through text chat.

Still curious what platforms everyone here prefers these days.

Since many people mentioned missing Omegle, I actually built a small project called Strango.

It lets people instantly talk to strangers through text chat with no login.

Curious to hear what features people would want in a platform like this.
