🚀 Popomo.video — Bring Stickers to Life with Code 💫

by•

Hey everyone! đź‘‹

I’m super excited (and a little nervous!) to share my latest project — Popomo.video 🫧

Popomo is a cute, Scratch-style motion video playground where kids, parents, and teachers can make puppet-like “pop stage” animations — think stickers on strings, bubbles floating around, characters bouncing with sound, all powered by simple drag-and-drop code blocks.

I make fun learning videos for kids on YouTube, but most animation tools are either too hard (keyframes! scenes!) or too limited (no real logic!).

So I thought — what if we could mix Scratch’s simplicity with video-maker fun?

That’s how Popomo was born.

🧩 What you can do

  • Program puppets and stickers to move, bounce, tilt, talk.

  • Add cues and camera moves (like “At 00:05, show Fluffy!”).

  • Save your stage locally and share with friends.

  • Works 100% in the browser — no login required.

đź’› Future plans

Popomo will always be free and open-source — because creativity should be accessible.

Premium features (optional) will focus on AI magic:

• ✨ Turn hand-drawn doodles into cute cartoon stickers

• 🪄 Generate characters in different poses and expressions

• 💻 “Vibe coding” to turn stories or SRT scripts into full scenes automatically

If you make kids’ content, teach coding, or just love playful animation, I’d love for you to try it and join the waitlist 💌

Would love your feedback —

What kind of “bubble magic” would you want to make with Popomo? 💭
