Small but exciting milestone for Showesome Screen Recorder 🎢

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a quick milestone for my Chrome extension Showesome Screen Recorder. Over the last 2 days, users grew from 19 → 59. Not huge by some standards, but for a solo project, it’s really encouraging.

Here’s what I’ve learned so far:

• Constantly iterating and pushing updates keeps early users engaged.

• Sharing the extension in communities like IndieHackers, Reddit, Product Hunt, and X helps drive early traction.

• Clear messaging around privacy, simplicity, and “no signup walls” makes a difference — users notice and trust the extension more.

Every new user is someone trying the extension and giving feedback, which is invaluable as I continue to improve it.
