Snakes and Ladders - Extreme Edition
Hey Product Hunt! π
I'm Chandan, a solo dev from India. I work full time as a developer and built this entirely on weekends over 6 months.
Honest origin story: my friends and I were bored one night and someone said "what if Snakes & Ladders had Truth or Dare?" Six months later here we are π
The game is simple. You roll the dice, move your piece, and land on a tile β you get a Truth or Dare challenge. But failing actually has consequences. You move BACK on the board. That one mechanic changes everything. People
actually try their dares instead of chickening out because losing ground hurts.
A few things I'm particularly proud of:
The ON FIRE mechanic β win 3 dares in a row and you get bonus tiles. Lose 2 in a row and COWARD MODE activates with harder dares. It creates natural momentum swings in the game.
The REVENGE tile β land on π and you get to pick ANYONE on the board for a dare. This
one feature has caused more friendship drama than I anticipated π
Hall of Shame β every embarrassing moment gets saved permanently. My beta testers
still bring up things from 3 months ago.
6 categories from Easy to Dirty (18+).
1000+ questions. No WiFi needed. No login.
What I got right: the core gameplay loop is genuinely fun in groups.
What I got wrong: retention. People play once and forget about it. Working on a coin system, daily rewards, and a store to fix this.
Currently at 1k+ installs and a 5.0 rating.
Tiny numbers but I'm proud of every one.
Would love feedback from this community β
especially on what would make you actually
keep coming back to a party game.
Free on Android π
