Solo founder building in the AI voice agent space
Hey everyone 👋
I’m Sumit — currently building in the AI voice agent space.
Over the past few months, I kept noticing something interesting: a lot of businesses were using AI voice tools, but still manually figuring out what actually happened in calls and what to do next. That gap pushed me to start working on a solution focused more on decisions and actions rather than just transcripts.
I’ve been building as a solo founder — handling product, positioning, and talking directly with early users. It’s been both challenging and fun, especially seeing real conversations being handled by AI in production.
Right now I’m focused on:
• Improving call intelligence and insights
• Making workflows simpler for non-technical teams
• Reducing reliance on complex integrations
• Learning from early user feedback
Happy to connect with other founders building in AI, automation, or SaaS. Would love to hear:
What are you currently building, and what’s been the hardest part so far?
Looking forward to learning from this community 🙌

Hey Sumit...super cool to see you tackling call intelligence as a solo founder. That gap between transcripts and actual actions sounds like a huge unlock for teams.
I'm Rian, building The Sponge...an AI flashcard app that turns any webpage into spaced repetition study material via browser extension. (Supercharged my Jeopardy prep.) Hardest part so far: distribution as a dev at heart.
If you're up for it, launching on PH soon...would appreciate a follow (link in profile). What's one lesson from your early users?
@rianbrob Thanks Rian — really appreciate that, and The Sponge sounds like a fun and genuinely useful idea (especially for learning-heavy workflows).
One big lesson from early users: transcripts alone don’t change behavior — teams need clear decisions and next steps. When calls automatically translate into actions (like booking, qualification, or routing), adoption improves dramatically.
Also totally relate on distribution — building is the easier part, getting attention is the real challenge.
Happy to follow along for your launch. Wishing you a strong PH debut 🚀
