Static vs Dynamic IP for e-commerce: Which one do you use?
Hi Makers,
I’m currently running a small cross-border e-commerce operation managing multiple store accounts on platforms like Amazon and Shopee.
I’ve been researching IP solutions to reduce account association risks, and I’m torn between static and dynamic IPs.
Here’s what I understand so far:
Type | Pros | Cons |
|---|---|---|
Static IP | Stable, good for long-term account login | Easier to be flagged if IP is “dirty” |
Dynamic IP | Changes frequently, hard to track | Might trigger login alerts from platforms |
For those of you running e-commerce or multi-account operations:
Which type of IP do you use?
How do you ensure your IP is “clean” and不会被 the platform flag?
Any recommended tools or best practices for IP management?
For context, I’ve been testing a service called Fluxisp that provides residential static IPs. It seems to work decently so far — low blocking rate and stable connection. But I’d love to hear what others in the community are using before I fully commit.
Thanks in advance for any insights!
