This app caught my best friend snooping through my phone

by

Hey everyone!

I built SpyCatcher out of frustration. I'd leave my phone on the table around friends or family, and I had no way to know if anyone snooped through my messages, photos, or private apps. So I created something simple: a privacy guardian that silently captures a selfie whenever someone opens one of your protected apps.

Here's the thing: we're obsessed with screen locks and face recognition, but most of us never know what happens after someone unlocks our phone. SpyCatcher fills that gap.

How it works: You choose which apps to protect (Messages, Gallery, Banking apps, whatever matters to you), and if someone tries to open them, boom you get a photo of who and when. It's that simple. Runs silently in the background, won't drain your battery, and all the intruder photos stay private on your device. No cloud uploads, no sketchy permissions.

I've been testing it with friends, and the reactions have been hilarious and eye-opening. People are surprised how many unauthorized access attempts happen, whether it's curious friends, family members, or worse.

If you care about phone privacy, I'd love your feedback. It's free to download on Android, and I'm actively improving it based on user feedback.

Download and test it here: SpyCatcher – Intruder Selfie

Would genuinely appreciate if you tried it and let me know what you think, or if you spot any privacy features I'm missing!
