The inspiration for Uptime Watcher came when my #UptimeRobot subscription plan “changed” without warning. That pushed me to create something without a subscription. No recurring fees for something that runs entirely on my own machine. I also explored other apps on the App Store, but they either cost too much or lacked features I needed (like email notifications). So I built exactly what I wanted.
