Using AI to generate database relationships — does this help or get in the way?
by•
ForgeSQL now uses AI to suggest and generate database relationships from a visual model.
From your experience, would you trust AI at this stage, or prefer full manual control? What would make this actually useful in real projects?

AI as a co-pilot, yes. Autopilot, not yet.
I’d trust it to propose relationships, spot gaps, and explain its reasoning, but I want the final call. What would really sell it is transparency + easy undo + learning from team decisions.

@kshitiz_hamal2 That makes sense.
The goal is very much “co-pilot, not autopilot” — suggestions with clear reasoning, full manual control, and easy rollback.
Out of curiosity, when reviewing a suggested relationship, what kind of explanation would you expect to see to trust it?
