We built Forjum to be useless within a year.
Not as a joke. As a design principle.
Forjum exists to teach you to read your own body so accurately that one day you wake up and don’t need it anymore. You know when you’ve pushed too hard. You know when you’re recovered. You know what your training is actually doing to you — not because a screen told you, but because you’ve learned to feel it and understand it.
We called it “learn and graduate.”
The five stats in Forjum — Might, Agility, Constitution, Spirit, Presence — are derived directly from Apple Watch sensor data. HRV, VO2 max, sleep architecture, heart rate, movement patterns. They grow with consistent training. They decay with inactivity.
That last part is deliberate. VO2 max drops measurably within two weeks of inactivity. The body reclaims what it no longer considers necessary. The decay mechanic isn’t punishment — it’s physiological accuracy. Your character sheet moves exactly the way your body moves.
Your data never leaves your device. No servers, no cloud sync, no profile being built somewhere. Everything is processed locally, offline, on your phone. We have no access to what you track, how often you train, or what your numbers look like.
That’s not a feature we added late. It’s a consequence of what we actually believe — your body is yours, and the data it generates belongs to no one else.
One more thing. Presence — the social dimension of your character — is trained through real interaction challenges. Verbal duels. Situations that test how you carry yourself, not just how hard you train. Because the body isn’t only a machine.
We’re in open beta now. 90 days free, permanent Founder badge, no credit card.
If this resonates, we’d love to have you in.
