We got accepted into Google Cloud for Startups — here’s why that matters for us
Hey PH community 👋
We’re currently building MasterPlan, a SaaS platform for paid media professionals, and we’re still in waitlist mode.
Recently, we were accepted into the Google Cloud for Startups program — and I wanted to share why this milestone actually matters at this stage.
For early-stage SaaS products, infrastructure is a strategic decision, not just a technical one.
Here’s what this changes for us:
• Cloud credits → more runway to invest in product instead of infrastructure
• Access to Google Cloud specialists → validation of our architectural decisions
• A scalable foundation from day one
• Better support for evolving our AI-driven planning features
At waitlist stage, it’s tempting to optimize only for speed.
But we’re intentionally optimizing for long-term scalability and reliability — especially since our users manage real media budgets.
For those who’ve been through startup cloud programs:
Did it significantly impact your growth or product evolution?
Would love to hear your experience.
Happy to share insights from our application process if helpful.

So i have had 3 products get approved.
Make sure you get the 12 months of google workspace as well (definitely worth it for that alone).
GCP is very easy to user and lovely for deployment but you burn those credits fassst! Good Luck!
@j_porter yes! I got the 12 months of google workspace. A real life saver.
Thanks!
