@busmark_w_nika Like there is a leaderboard of login streaks everyday - I don't think it is helpful. I think that would be better to create a leaderboard of people based on product reviews/feedbacks.
Maybe add discussion activity to activity. Like linkedin does it. Would make discussions more lively. Lively discussion in a place full of makers could be an interesting combo.

@busmark_w_nika No. notifications from threads you participated in or upvoted. So you can chime in later.

A feature that allows direct messaging between users, with the option to accept messages would be nice. It would promote more website usage and give users more control over their interactions.

@busmark_w_nika Oh interesting, didn't know that. I believe that with the option to accept or decline messages along with the option of disabling notifications for it would make it less distracting.
@ash_grover I think it is not only about notifications. I daily receive a huge amount of requests to upvote. It stopped to be a fun.

I’d like to see more active action against bots (and AI-powered writers) and more meaningful discussions. Most of it is just pointless stuff day after day.

I would implement a section where users can create product ideas and from there gather people to help develop the product

A DM feature would be great to connect with other makers and swap insights. Maybe with a LinkedIn-style 'intro' to keep it relevant. The ability to control who can message you is key though to avoid spam.
