Why are digital greetings still so… boring?
We send hundreds of messages every week. Texts, DMs, quick reactions.
But when it actually matters, like birthdays, appreciation, or “thinking of you” moments, we are still stuck sending:
generic messages
recycled GIFs
copy pasted templates
It feels low effort for something that is supposed to be meaningful.
That is the problem we have been thinking about.
We are building GreetGems, a new way to turn simple messages into something that actually feels personal, thoughtful, and memorable.
Instead of just sending a message, you create something that feels like a moment.
A few things we are exploring:
making greetings feel more intentional, not just fast
helping people express emotion without overthinking
removing the blank page problem when you want to say something meaningful
Why is it still so hard to send a message that feels genuine?
We are preparing to launch soon on Product Hunt and would really value your input:
When was the last time you actually felt something from a message someone sent you?
What makes a digital message meaningful versus forgettable?
Do you care more about personalization or speed?
We are launching soon, and the good news is that it will be FREE to use. I would love your feedback, and if you are open to collaborating, feel free to reach out.
